Stacking WAZIP with other funding

WAZIP funding can be combined with other eligible incentives to lower the purchase price of eligible zero-emission vehicles and equipment. WAZIP is applied last, covering the remaining cost up to the maximum voucher or total funding limit.

Total funding limits

ZEV Fleets: The combined amount of WAZIP Incentives and other eligible incentives may not exceed 90% of the total cost of the vehicle or equipment, excluding taxes and fees.

For guidance on stacking incentives, see the .

Important restrictions to keep in mind:

  • Both dealers and purchasers must ensure all program requirements are met for each funding source.
  • If the WAZIP voucher is worth more than 90% of the purchase price, the voucher amount will be reduced.
  • Purchasers may be required to return voucher funds if stacking rules are violated. See the .
