On Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. PT at the Avista Utilities Headquarters (1411 E Mission Ave., Spokane, WA 99220), WAZIP held the Eastern Washington Ride & Drive, hosted by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), CALSTART, Clean & Prosperous, and Avista. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about WAZIP and test drive some of the vehicles and equipment that are eligible for voucher incentives under the program. Both on-road trucks and off-road equipment were showcased at the event.

WAZIP partner webinar: An overview of WAZIP-eligible vehicles, how to select the right vehicles for your fleet, and the purchase process. The Washington Zero-Emission Incentive Program, or WAZIP, is launching to help businesses and fleet operators transition to cleaner commercial vehicles. Funded by the state’s Climate Commitment Act, a total of $112 million in voucher incentives are available through the Washington State Department of Transportation program.
