Bridging the cost gap between diesel
and zero-emission fleets

The Washington Zero-Emission Incentive Program (WAZIP) helps businesses and commercial fleets save money when they buy or lease cleaner vehicles and equipment. WAZIP is funded by Washington’s Climate Commitment Act (CCA) managed by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and administered by Catalyst Mobility™, formerly CALSTART.

WAZIP offers point of sale vouchers that lower the upfront cost of eligible zero-emission on-road vehicles and off-road equipment. Purchasers can choose from a catalog of approved models and work directly with participating sellers to complete their purchase.

WAZIP offers:

  • Discounts at the time of purchase or lease (as long as available funding lasts)
  • Support finding a ZEV that fits your needs
  • Technical and infrastructure support to ensure fleet readiness
