Find a WAZIP-approved dealer to start your voucher application. Dealers submit the voucher application on the purchaser’s behalf and apply the WAZIP voucher discount at the point of purchase or lease. Your dealer or our technical assistance team can also connect you with additional funding options to help you save more.
Connect with technical assistance for help with infrastructure planning, including coordination with your local utility and available incentive programs. WAZIP can also help fund infrastructure purchases
as part of your vehicle or equipment voucher.
Follow WAZIP’s operating and reporting rules for three years. This includes keeping telematics active, completing annual surveys and maintaining at least 75% of vehicle use in Washington state. Details

Who can qualify for enhanced voucher amounts:
Installing charging or fueling infrastructure is necessary for electric and hydrogen-powered fleets and can take several months to complete. WAZIP provides a small amount of infrastructure funding alongside vehicle and equipment funding, so it is important to know your fueling plan before purchasing your new vehicle or piece of equipment.
WAZIP’s technical assistance team works with Washington utilities to help you plan and install the needed infrastructure on time. They can also connect you to utility programs and local resources.
Save up to 90% of your total purchase price with WAZIP and combined funding offers. WAZIP voucher amounts vary by vehicle/equipment — as listed in our catalog — and business type and are available on a rolling basis for as long as funds are available. Vouchers are limited to 10 active vouchers per fleet or business and 30 total vouchers every two fiscal years (July 2025–June 2027). Learn more about WAZIP funding amounts and limitations in the .
